UNIONTOWN, Ohio – The husband of the Uniontown teacher who was critically injured when a rock was tossed from a Pennsylvania highway in 2014 has died.

The Stark County Coroner confirmed Sunday afternoon that 55-year-old Randy Budd was found dead in his home Saturday night.

On July 10, Randy’s wife, Sharon, was critically injured—losing her right eye and suffering serious brain damage—after a large rock the size of volleyball was tossed from an Interstate 80 overpass in central Pennsylvania, crashed through the family’s Nissan Rogue and struck her in the face.
