The legendary Jazz singer/musician Al Jarreau has been hospitalized and undergoing treatment for exhaustion. Jarreau has had health issues in the past but because of this recent incident he is being forced to cancel the rest of his tour dates as well as retire.

Therefore, with complete sorrow, Al Jarreau must retire from touring.  He is thankful for his 50 years of traveling the world in ministry through music, and for everyone who shared this with him – his faithful audience, the dedicated musicians, and so many others who supported his effort.

The 76 year old Grammy Award winning Al Jarreau is most notably known for his Quiet Storm hit “After All”,  the theme song “Moonlighting” of the hit television show Moonlighting that starred Bruce Willis, R&B hit “We’re In This Love Together” and countless others. Al Jarreau received a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2001 for a legendary career that started in 1967 and continued as of date.

We thank Al Jarreau for his contributions to the music world and will continue to uplift him in our prayers.
