It’s easy to feel lonely as a caregiver. So much time is devoted to making life easier and more comfortable for your sick or dying loved one that you don’t make much time for yourself, family or friends.

AARP Services, a subsidiary of AARP, is looking to change this by building an online community of caregivers through a new website, CareConnection.

The site is currently in beta.

CareConnection’s goal is to become the mecca for caregivers, providing resources to assist with the day-to-day care of family and friends who have fallen ill.

“[AARP Services] is working as part of AARP’s organization-wide effort of innovation advocacy and education to help millions of caregivers in the United States,” company CEO Larry Flanagan said in a statement. “There couldn’t be a more appropriate societal challenge that calls upon technology and design to address.”
