Christian artists are banding together to help those affected by the flooding in Texas and bring hope to Houston.

“Together For Texas” a Facebook Live concert featuring Mandisa Hundley, Jonathan McReynolds, Natalie Grant and more will help aid those hit hardest by Harvey.

The event, organized by Grant, kicks off Thursday evening, August 31, 2017 9pm ET/8pm CT, with proceeds going to Convoy Of Hope, a faith-based humanitarian organization currently on the ground, meeting the various needs of thousands.

“I hate the phrase, ‘all I can do is pray.’ I know that many of us long to help physically and financially and you can,” wrote Hundley in a Facebook post. “But please know that prayer is not ‘all we can do,’ it is the MOST we can do! I realize that our human eyes can’t see what is happening in the spiritual realm when we pray, but based on the counsel of God’s word, I am convinced that there is limitless power in intercession.”

For those who wish to pray and support Convoy of Hope, text “CONVOY” to 50555 to donate to $10 as you enjoy the free concert.

Performances and prayer will also be led by Jeremy Camp, Mark Hall of Casting Crowns, Danny Gokey, Matt Maher, Ryan Stevenson, Matthew West and others.

For individuals feeling unsure of what to pray, the “Overcomer” singer gave some helpful suggestions.
