Less than a week before the season starts, the Browns have announced their captains.
Head coach Hue Jackson announced Monday the team has decided on (OL) Joe Thomas, (LB) Chritian Kirksey, (LB) Jamie Collins, Sr., (DB) Jamar Taylor and (P) Britton Colquitt.
“The team – this is not something the coaches do – the team makes these decisions [on captains],” Jackson said. “I make sure that I pass out the papers, but they decide who the captains are…I think that is a tremendous honor for those guys to be voted captains by their teammates.”
