This week’s topic: Living By The Word

My sword and shield is my protection (Ephesians 6:17), my healing, my love, my comfort, it is The Word of God. There is much power in The Word of God. We can stand on The Word. We can believe and trust in The Word (Proverbs 3:5). We can study it and meditate on it. It is power against the enemy. It trains us and teaches us. The Word of God gives us revelation and increases our discernment. Reading it give us more understanding and increases our wisdom. The Lord is able to speak to us through His Word and give us the direction we need. We gain clarity through reading The Word. Our minds are renewed and we become transformed through The Word of God. The Word of God is more powerful than a two edge sword (Hebrew 4:12).

Remind God of His Word. Speak The Word of God against your enemy. Speak The Word over your body, your mind, and your emotions. Speak the Word of God over you family, your marriage, your children, your finances. Speak The Word! The more you read it, the more you can use it, anytime, and anywhere. When you read it daily, it’s in you; it becomes a part of you. You won’t be able to pull a bible out every time, but when it’s in you, you will be able to just speak it. The Word of God gives us power. It’s our weapon in warfare and we need it daily.

Scripture of the Day: “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” – Hebrew 4:12
