Around 1,000 kids from the Cleveland area were treated to a fun Saturday morning thanks to Cleveland police.
The department has been hand-picking the kids from traditionally less-fortunate parts of town for a while now for their annual holiday kids party. The kids were given gifts for Christmas, played games, and even met a few celebrities like the Grinch!
“The kids love it. They love all this stuff,” party Executive Director Bob Kumazec said. “They love playing games, having fun, seeing the Grinch. So it’s a good time.”
Funding for this year’s party came mostly from a grant from the Larry Doby Foundation.
