With temperatures continuing to drop, the city of Cleveland has announced it will keep four recreation centers open as 24-hour warming centers for at least the next two days.

The locations are:

  • Zelma Watson George Recreation Center – 3155 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive
  • Collinwood Recreation Center – 16300 Lakeshore Blvd.
  • Gunning Park Recreation Center – 16700 Puritas Avenue
  • Lonnie Burton Recreation Center – 2511 E 46th St.

In addition, the city is also urging residents to take extra precautions during the cold weather, including to drive safely, check emergency supply kits, dress appropriately, and bring pets indoors.
