Gospel music superstar, Yolanda Adams has received a Tony Award nomination for the SpongeBob SquarePants musical.
Announced on Tuesday morning by Katherine McPhee and Leslie Odom, Jr., SpongeBob SquarePants, led the noms with 12 nominations, including Best Musical and Best Lead Actor for Ethan Slater.
Adams has writing credits for “Super Sea Star Savior” from the musical.
The 2018 Tony Awards will air LIVE, Sunday June 10th at 8/7c on CBS.
