Family and friends gathered Saturday at Oaks Church in Red Oak, Texas  to celebrate the life of For Girls Like You founder, Wynter Pitts.

The service was filled with music, Bible scriptures, tears, laughter and many memories of Wynter as told by her family and friends.  A special moment in the memorial came when a video played of Wynter speaking to a group of women just a few months ago.  Her topic was “There is no Fear In Love,” 1 John 4:18-19.

One of the scriptures read at the service was 2 Corinthians 4:18: “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.,” according to CBN.

The Christian author, speaker, and niece of Dr. Tony Evans died suddenly from a heart attack on Tuesday.  She leaves behind her husband, Jonathan Pitts and four beautiful daughters.
