Like a kid who learned the hard way what happens when you touch a hot stove, the orange a-hole in the White House is NOT going to shepherd in another government shut down.

For a while, we weren’t too sure, but in the end, the proved he’s not that stupid. Thank God.

OK, so the bottom line is that President Trump will sign the border security deal he said he wasn’t “happy” with to avoid another shutdown, according to a report on Wednesday.

“I’m not happy about it. It’s not doing the trick, but I’m adding things to it. I will add whatever I have to add. It’s all going to happen. We are going to build a beautiful, big, strong wall that’s not going to let criminals and traffickers,” Trump said in his first reaction to the deal since learning about the details of the agreement struck Monday night.

But, that was then.

Here’s more via NY Post:

The president will ink the bill brokered by a bipartisan panel tasked with coming up with a plan before Friday’s deadline, CNN reported, citing two sources.

Speaking at a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Trump signaled that he wouldn’t let the government go dark.

“I don’t think you’re going to see a shutdown. If you did have it, it’s the Democrats fault. I would hope there won’t be a shutdown,” he told reporters.

Sen. Mitch McConnell, the Senate majority leader, urged Trump to sign the “pretty good deal” even though it doesn’t provide the $5.7 billion funding for a border wall the president wanted.

The government reopened on Jan. 25 after a 35-day partial government shutdown because Congress and the White House were deadlocked on Trump’s demand for a wall.

President Donald Trump intends to sign the border security deal to avoid another partial government shutdown, according to two sources who have spoke directly with the President.
