Many public offices and services will be closed today to observe Presidents Day.

Government: All federal, state and county offices and courts will be closed. No mail will be delivered.

Banks: Most banks will be closed.

City halls: Cleveland and most suburban city halls will be closed.

Libraries: Cleveland and Cuyahoga County public libraries will be open, as will most libraries in Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit counties.

Trash collections: Cleveland and most communities will have regularly scheduled trash pickups. Beachwood, Brecksville, Brook Park, Brooklyn, Cleveland Heights, Lakewood, Oakwood, Parma, Rocky River, Solon, University Heights and Warrensville Heights collections will or may be delayed one day through the week. Private trash haulers will work their regular schedules.

Public transportation: The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority’s buses and trains will operate on a regular daily schedule.

E-check stations: All stations will be closed today. They will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
