Public transportation and traveling is about to change forever.  Usually, when we take road trips, it can take minutes, even hours, depending on which city or state we want to visit.

For instance, if you want to go from Cleveland to Chicago, it takes over five hours if you are driving, or riding in a carpool.  If you are taking a bus or train, it would take over six or seven hours.  If you’re walking, over four days.  Riding a bike?  Over a day!  That is all without stopping and resting.

There is also flying.  Nonstop flights are only an hour, but it would cost you (more than a bus or train).

Those are it for your options, but soon, there will be one more that is even faster than any of those mentioned.  It is called the Hyperloop.

Here is how Cleveland19.com mentions the new way you could cross the Midwest:

A vacuum tube system, using magnets and sunlight to move pods at speeds as high as 700 mph.

Meaning the 313 mile trip from Cleveland to Chicago would take less than a half hour.

28 minutes to be exact as the station mentions.  That could mean the days of long lines, bus or train ride, and road trips could be over.

The question is: Would you consider using the Hyperloop to get to Chicago from Cleveland…or anywhere for that matter?
