CLEVELAND, Ohio — RTA‘s workforce will be reduced by 219, many of them bus drivers, come April.
About 110 drivers will lose their jobs after the agency discontinues or modifies some three dozen bus routes, which represents 12 percent of its service.
Other workers, including support staff, managers and transit police, will be laid off because of the service reduction and trimming aimed at saving money.
