The Browns and former general manager George Kokinis have resolved their grievance stemming from his dismissal.
Kokinis was fired by the Browns on Nov. 2 of last year for what the team termed “just cause.” Kokinis, who had been hired in February of 2009, later filed a grievance asking for $4 million in compensation and damages.
The Browns today released the following statement from the NFL:
“The grievance filed by George Kokinis against the Cleveland Browns has been amicably resolved. The terms of the settlement are confidential. Mr. Kokinis and the Browns each wish the other future success.”
