A popular 103 Jamz DJ has died.

Lawrence “Cool DJ Law” Brown, who also worked as a programming director, died Sunday, according to the 103 Jamz website. He was 40.

The announcement was made on the radio, 102.9 FM, Sunday evening about 4:45 p.m. He died of a heart attack, according to a statement from the station cited by WVEC.com.
