CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) – Pedro Rodriguez, 50-years-old was charged Sunday with two counts of aggravated murder.

This, after he allegedly shot and killed two employees Friday afternoon at Park Ohio Products factory on the city’s westside.

The shooting happened around 1:15 p.m. at Denison Avenue and W.79th Street when gunfire erupted in the parking lot and then inside of the factory. “You could hear gunshots from all around the shop…everybody started running” says an employee who made it out safely.

Cleveland Police tell 19 Action News that 50-year-old Pedro Rodriguez shot and killed Graciela Morales while she was in her s-u-v in the company parking lot. She was shot four times, twice in the head, once in the left arm and once in the chest.

Next, Rodriguez took Morales’ security key card and entered Park Ohio Products facility looking for his second victim, Morales’ 49-year-old stepson Eduardo Pupo, also known as Cuba. He was shot six times, four times in the head, once in the left arm and once in the chest.

Sources tell 19 Action News that Rodriguez was a former employee of Park Ohio Products and was Morales’ ex-boyfriend. According to police documents, he had reportedly been stalking Morales.

All other employees made it out safely but were horrified at what they had seen inside and outside of their workplace.
