CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County will have to make $36 million in budget cuts for 2011 — $11 million more than the $26 million cut last year — but will not have to lay off employees, according to information presented during Thursday’s County Commissioner’s meeting.
Property and sales tax revenue is way down in 2010, which is why the county will need to make more cuts and state funding is also down to local governments.
