The first centers in the country to address the challenges

Of healthcare disparities among minorities.

• The Minority Men’s Health Center was developed to be a center for healthcare for minority men. It addresses conditions including prostate cancer, kidney disease, hypertension and diabetes.

• Dr. Modlin, Kidney Transplant Surgeon, Board-Certified Urologist, Founded and Directs the Cleveland Clinic

Minority Men’s Health Center (MMHC). He graduated from Northwestern University in 1983 (Chemistry

Degree) and Northwestern University Medical School in 1987 and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.
