PITTSBURGH — A hearing for the Aliquippa man who told police he accidentally shot and killed his girlfriend while they were “goofing around” with a gun has been postponed.

Marcus Raynor, 30, is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the Dec. 7 killing of 32-year-old Simone Cox at the home they shared in the 200 block of Fourth Avenue in Aliquippa.

The victim’s two children, an 11-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy, were at home at the time of the shooting.

Police said Raynor claims the pair did not know the gun was loaded.
