The man cleared in the shooting of a little girl and her uncle is now fighting for his life.
Lonnie Richardson was gunned down outside Walther’s Cafe just after midnight on Wednesday. Richardson was shot several times in the Canton bar’s parking lot.
911 Dispatcher: “What’s your emergency?”
911 Caller: “This is Walther’s Café and someone’s been shot in the parking lot.”
911 Dispatcher: “How many people are there?”
911 Caller: “I don’t know there are people everywhere. He unloaded on us, the whole gun. He is probably dead.”
On Friday, a jury said they could not connect the 29-year-old Richardson to a violent home invasion and the shooting of seven-year-old Ipraisha Pleasant and her uncle, Jason Hasan.
“Ipraiha was very lucky.”
