ARLINGTON, Texas – Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Bryant McFadden and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders have left the Super Bowl with injuries.
McFadden injured a hip in the first quarter against the GREEN BAY PACKERS, and the Steelers said his return was questionable. It was unclear when or how McFadden was hurt.
Sanders left with a foot injury after making a 13-yard catch early in the second quarter. He was taken off the field on a cart.
Offensive tackle Flozell Adams injured his shoulder in the opening quarter when teammate Chris Kemoeatu slammed into his back during Nick Collins’ 37-yard interception return for a touchdown that gave GREEN BAYa 14-0 lead with 3:20 remaining. Adams was replaced by Trai Essex at right tackle for a few plays before returning to start the second quarter.
