RTA service is being rerouted this morning after a pedestrian was hit by a train.
It happened on the Blue Line Rapid headed east around 4:20AM at South Woodland and Van Aken Blvd. near Shaker Square.
Police and fire crews are on the scene. There are no reports on the condition of the person hit at this time.
A replacement bus service is in place. Trains running from Shaker Square to downtown on the Blue Line and the entire Green Line is current in service. Red Line is not affected.
