Man Down: Sandusky Police Officer fatally shot
The Sandusky Police Department in Erie County confirms that an officer was shot and killed in the line of duty early Saturday morning.
The incident happened around 2:45 a.m. near Firelands Hospital.
The officer has not been identified at this time.
The shooting suspect was also shot, taken to Firelands Hospital then lifeflighted to another hospital.
