A potentially serious situation at Cleveland City Hall was nothing more than an April Fool’s Day prank.

A woman who works in the Building and Housing Department called her boyfriend and said something about gunshots being fired inside City Hall. She said she was hiding under her desk. He called 911, because he didn’t realize it was a joke.

Cleveland Police have arrested that employee, identified as Rhodia Wallace of Bedford for Inducing Panic and Making False Alarms.
