CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
A Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Deputy is now charged after two criminal incidents in the Metroparks.
Paul Lawrence was arrested at his Middleburg Heights home Tuesday morning.
Rangers say the first incident was on June 12th, near the Mastick picnic area.
Lawrence is charged with two counts of public indecency for allegedly exposing himself and masturbating in front of a woman.
Rangers say the second incident was on August 29th, near Hogsback Lane and Valley Parkway.
Lawrence is charged with two counts of menacing for allegedly intimidating two 19-year-old women.
The victims were walking together and tell Rangers Lawrence drove by them several times, watched them from a wooded area and thought he was urinating behind a tree.
Lawrence was off-duty during both incidents.
He posted bond Wednesday morning and remains on paid leave.
