CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) – –

19 Action News has learned a Cuyahoga County manager under investigation has been fired. And, an investigation into his office has been referred to the County Prosecutor’s office for possible criminal charges.

Mark Lime has been fired as Director of the Criminal Division of the county Clerk of Courts. This investigation focuses on money handled in the office for fines and bonds to get prisoners out of jail.

A separate investigation is being handled by the Sheriff’s Department. We left a message with a woman at Lime’s home. Waiting to hear back.
