One man is custody after leading police on a wild foot chase on the east side of Cleveland.
Authorities say the chase began near East 65th and Rehn Monday evening when police responded to a report of an aggravated robbery.
Police say once they arrived they observed the suspect and started chasing him. During the pursuit the suspect fired at the officers and the officers returned fire.
After chasing the suspect through the yards the officers were able to apprehend him and place him under arrest.
The suspect had a gunshot wound to the left wrist. He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he is being treated for his injury
