After news that he would not share any profits from his “Occupy All Streets” t-shirt line, rapper Jay-Z has removed the controversial shirts from his website.

Rapper/entrepreneur Jay-Z launched a new collection of t-shirts on his Rocawear line playing off the Occupy Wall Street movement. The $23 shirts play on the words of the now infamous political movement pitting the poor, unemployed and middle class against the rich.

TMZ is reporting that Jay-Z, whose rhymes pay homage to his struggles growing up on the streets of Brooklyn, has taken the tees off the market.

The rapper, whose net worth is reported to be around $450 million, drew ire after announcing he had no plans of sharing any profits with the 99 percent.
