A photo has emerged of Sharron Smalls, 43, the principal of a failing New York school grinding with a shirtless man covered in what looks like chocolate sauce. The photo comes as the school, and Smalls, are under investigation for a credit-swap program that has allegedly allowed hundreds of students to receive a diploma without taking the courses required for graduation.
Students at Jane Addams High School for Academic Careers in the Bronx plastered their campus with copies of the photo. The students are pissed because she may have messed up the graduation of nearly half the senior class by giving math and science credits to those who didn’t take the courses.
Last year, only 45% of the senior class received a diploma and New York City wants to close the school.
Ms. Smalls, who became principal of Jane Addams in 2007, is also being investigated by the Department of Education as a result of teachers’ complaints that she had required them to pay for parking spaces and had failed to report student suspensions.
Students are also upset because she doesn’t want the girls coming to school in short shorts but turns out, she likes wearing them and hanging out with strippers. #WTFican’t!
