The internet’s been abuzz since news surfaced that pop star Rihanna has quietly reunited with Chris Brown, three years after he brutally beat her beyond recognition.

The R&B star was even a guest at the Rihanna’s 24th birthday celebrations in L.A. following the Grammy Awards, which was the anniversary of the fatal beating incident.

And now the duo have decided to do the unthinkable and have collaborated on each other’s remixes – Chris on Rihanna’s raunchy, definitely not safe for work Birthday Cake and Rihanna on Chris’ Turn Up The Music.

Take a listen…I’ll wait.

Rihanna f/ Chris Brown “Birthday Cake (Remix)” [NEW MUSIC]

Now I don’t know about you but personally, I was beyond creeped out and felt physically sick while listening to an abuser telling his former victim how he wants to lick her and perform other sexual acts with her.

Remember this interview with Diane Sawyer where you, Rihanna, talked about the assault and explained why she finally decided to end things with Chris?

You told Diane,

“When I realized that my selfish decision for love could result in some young girl getting killed, I could not be easy with that part. I couldn’t be held responsible for telling them ‘”Go back”. Even if Chris never hit me again, who’s to say that their boyfriend won’t? Who’s to say that they won’t kill these girls? These are young girls. I just didn’t realize what an impact I had on these young girls’ lives until that happened.”

So what happened to all of that sense of responsibility Rihanna? According to the Chicago Tribune, 1 in 10 teens have suffered from domestic abuse in romantic relationships with females between the age of 16 and 24 experiencing the brunt of it.

Don’t get me wrong.

I’m all for forgiving, forgetting and moving on but reuniting and becoming pals (or lovers depending on who you ask) with someone who choked you until you could no longer breathe and began to lose consciousness, who repeatedly bit you, viciously beat you up on every inch of your body and then ditched you in the middle of nowhere? Now that’s messed up!
