Last week, Sean “Diddy” Combs was celebrated for winning an Oscar for best documentary at this year’s Academy Awards, but that wasn’t exactly the case.
So he clarified the situation on the “Today” show that he didn’t actually win anything.
Diddy says that while he is an executive producer of “Undefeated,” the award itself only goes to its film’s directors and producers.
“I’m like the Martin Scorsese Jr., ” said Diddy.
He also made sure to note his new music network, Revolt. On the project, set to launch in 2013:
“It will be the #1 name in music,” Combs predicted. “We will play what the others are afraid to play. We’re bringing the soul back to music.”
