19 Action News has uncovered new details about a mother arrested for leaving five kids home alone.
Turns out, social workers had been watching Wakiha Fayne and her family for generations.
Maybe, just maybe the most recent bust will end the cycle for five children between the ages of 8 months and 6-years-old found home alone. Fayne has six kids.
The agency is still trying to identify and find the fathers of the abandoned kids. The county believes there are five fathers total and only two of the five are involved in their children’s lives.
The county says they’ve also dealt with Fayne’s mom and are still digging through old records.
