MEDINA, Ohio – A partnership between local law enforcement groups resulted in a first-time raid, nabbing twenty drug suspects.

Medina police partnered with the Medina County Drug Task Force and the U.S. Marshals Service for Operation Bear Trap 1.

Authorities arrested 18 suspects on Wednesday in a drug raid after an ongoing investigation. Police took two of the suspects into custody prior to Wednesday’s raid.

Police also confiscated 161 marijuana plants from a home on Carsten Road in Lafayette Township. OxyContin pills, Ecstatsy, two cars, and guns were also taken into evidence.

The law enforcement agencies are planning more partnerships to make future arrests.
