NORTH OLMSTED, OH (WOIO) – If you haven’t pulled out those sales ads, hit stores’ web sites or planned out your Black Friday “to-do” list you’re already behind.

Black Friday is well underway!  Lines at Best Buy in North Olmsted started forming earlier this week.  In fact, just about every major retailer started the shopping frenzy on turkey Thursday.

Kmart set the pace by opening at 7 a.m. on Thanksgiving, closing at 4 p.m., then reopening at 8 p.m. Thanksgiving night.

“I love these sales, if they open we will come,” said one shopper.

Reporter Dan Deroos was at the Toys R’ Us when it opened at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving and they’d been lined up for hours.

“I already ate earlier, played football so didn’t have nothing else to do.  Might as well come wait in line for some cheap stuff? Right…,” said another early shopper.

Larzetta Debord from Parma had hit the CVS Black Friday, then came straight to the Toys R’ Us where she was about 50th in line.

“This is your second Black Friday why do you do it?,” asked reporter Dan Deroos.  “Because you can’t get any better deals. So you stand in line, you get the deals and it makes the kids happy on Christmas,” said Larzetta Debord.
