ORRVILLE, Ohio – Less than three hours after being on the job, Orrville K-9 cop Freddie finds drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop.

Freddie, along with his human partner Officer Smith, stopped a car in the area of W. High Street and N. Vine Street recently. During the stop, Officer Smith asked those inside if there were any drugs in the car. The response police got was “no.”

Not buying their answer, K-9 Freddie walked around the outside of the car and alerted his human partner that he smelled drugs.

Those inside the vehicle were asked to get out at which time Smith found seeds and something to smoke marijuana out of.

The driver was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license.
