CLEVELAND – The snowstorm could still change your plans Wednesday, even if you were planning to forge your way through the blizzard.

So far, no cancellations for major events have been reported, but we’re staying in touch with local venues to see what’s open and what’s closed.

According to Quicken Loans Arena, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert scheduled for 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. is still on.

At 12:14 p.m., the arena tweeted: “UPDATE: Today’s Trans-Siberian Orchestra performances will go on as scheduled. Please allow plenty of time in traveling and drive safely.”

At the House of Blues, however, a show scheduled for Wednesday at 8 p.m. has been postponed. Carlos Jones and The PLUS Band w/ Jah Messengers has been pushed back, but no date has been set yet. Original tickets will be honored at the rescheduled date, when announced, or refunds are available where they were purchased.

Here are other closings in from other venues:

– WADE OVAL RINK: Due to inclement weather, the Rink on Wade Oval will be closing today at 2 p.m.

– CLEVELAND MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY: Due to inclement weather, the Museum will close at 3 p.m. Wednesday.

– CLEVELAND METROPARKS ZOO: Due to weather conditions, some DecDay activities have been canceled.

The Canton Charge game scheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m. against the Austin Toros will go on. However, the team said anyone with tickets who cannot make the game due to inclement weather may trade in their ticket for any remaining home game this season.

Most schools are not in session Wednesday due to the holiday, but we are getting some church closings in to our Closing Connection. Check out the list of the churches reporting status here:

Also, if you’re planning to head to downtown Cleveland to try your luck at Horseshoe Casino, it’s still open.

“We are just keeping an eye on the storm and monitoring driving conditions. Otherwise, it’s business as usual,” said a casino spokesperson.

The bottom line is, if you’re planning to go to an event, it’s best to check before you leave the house.
