CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

ESPN is reporting that the Cleveland Browns have decided to reboot their coach search after leaving Arizona late Sunday morning without landing Oregon’s Chip Kelly, citing league sources. The team apparently was unsure about whether or not Kelly was 100% committed to a run in the NFL.

WIP radio in Philadelphia reported on Saturday that the Eagles were nearing a five year deal with Kelly. On Friday night the NFL.com reported Kelly was nearing a deal with the Browns. Buffalo did interview Kelly on Friday night, but they appear to be out of the picture.

Another candidate for the Browns, Doug Marrone, was snatched up by Buffalo Sunday. They’ll have to look through their other options.

The team has already interviewed Arizona defensive coordinator Ray Horton and former Arizona head coach Ken Whisenhunt. Former Chicago coach Lovie Smith is an option. There are also some offensive coordinators to consider; Bruce Arians of Indianapolis, Denver’s Mike McCoy, San Francisco’s Greg Roman and Cincinnati’s Jay Gruden.
