PHILADELPHIA – Chip Kelly, the Oregon coach who was interviewed for the Cleveland Browns head coach job, is going to lead the Philadelphia Eagles.

The team made the announcement Wednesday.

Kelly was considered to be high up on the list of candidates interviewed by the Browns earlier this month. Browns owner Jimmy Haslam reportedly met with Kelly in Arizona on Jan. 6, and ESPN said Kelly said no to joining the team and returned to Oregon.
