KENT, Ohio – More than 500 people filled Kent State’s MAC Center on Thursday to do the “Harlem Shake.”

The video starts with Flash the Golden Eagle showing off a few moves on the basketball court with a black squirrel before a crowd joins in. From students in monkey and rooster masks to someone dressed as “Gumby,” participants went all out with dance moves and costumes.

There is even a shot of a kid hiding under a construction barrel. It’s an image that went viral after more than 30 people were arrested during College Fest in April .

The video ends with an alley-oop by Tyler Scott.

“Harlem Shake” videos have been popping up all over YouTube, with many college mascots taking center stage. The Kent State University Alumni Association put together the video so more students know about the group.
