Reality star and crooner Tamar Braxton (pictured) is pregnant.com and she couldn’t be happier.
The youngest of the Braxton girls, who co-stars on the WE tv hit show, “Braxton Family Values,” along with sisters Toni, Traci, Towanda,Trina and mom Evelyn, announced her good news on Wednesday morning’s chatfest,”Good Morning America (GMA).”
Braxton told host Lara Spencer over at GMA that she is thrilled and ravenous. “I have a love on top! I am pregnant!” she exclaimed. “I feel great and greedy at the same time. This is the most I’ve eaten ever.”
The 35-year-old performer, who also stars in her very own WE tv hit reality series, “Tamar & Vince,” along with hubby record executive mogul, Vincent Herbert (pictured), has been trying to conceive for quite some time now. Tamar has allowed viewers of her show to peek in and witness a few of her conception woes on both reality shows. At one point the Herberts are seen interviewing surrogates on their own spinoff show and there was even a discussion on the ”Braxton Family Values” program about sister Towanda possibly carrying the couple’s child. None of the surrogate plans however actually came to fruition.
There have been pregnancy rumors swirling around the couple ever since Tamar and Vincent visited BET’s “106 & Park” show back in February. According to sources on the show, Tamar’s stylist kept making waistband adjustments on her ensemble as if she were trying to hide her bundle.
As far as when the baby is due, the couple are hushed.com about it but Tamar did tell Spencer, “I don’t have that many months to go. I’m almost there.” So for now, the lovebirds are flying high with not only the baby news but Tamar’s hot single, “Love & War,” has been topping the iTunes charts. She also just signed a major deal with L.A. Reid’s Epic Records.
