SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – Some students at Brush High School have been suspended after pranks were carried out on the last day of school for seniors.

According to a news release from South Euclid Lyndhurst School Superintendent Linda Reid, a small number of students were involved with “the ritual of lighthearted senior pranks.”

The district did not reveal details about the pranks, but the students involved have been identified and dealt with, the release said. The offenses of greater magnitude resulted in suspension.

The principal, Kenya Harrington, said he was disappointed in the behavior of the students.

The district said all students at the school were safe following the pranks and everything went on as usual for the rest of the day.
