MONTGOMERY, Ala. – An Alabama trucking company has filed a new class action lawsuit claiming Jimmy Haslam’s Pilot Flying J Travel Centers cheated it out of promised fuel rebates.

Eagle Motor Freight, Inc is a Montgomery, Alabama, trucking company that said it was a party to a fuel rebate contract with Pilot Flying J since February 2009.

The class action complaint said the agreement was reached with Pilot employee Kevin Hanscomb whose home was searched by the FBI last April.

An FBI affidavit “ties Hanscomb to the conspiracy and fraud to cheat Pilot Flying J customers of their discounts and/or rebates,” according the lawsuit.

The class action complaint was filed in U.S. District Court in Montgomery, Alabama, and brings to 15 the number of trucking companies now alleging fraud on the part of Haslam and his company.

Haslam has consistently said he was unaware of any wrongdoing and has been contacting trucking companies to “make things right.”
