PARMA, Ohio – Parma Community General Hospital will be integrated with University Hospitals.
Sources connected to the agreement confirmed to NewsChannel5 that University Hospitals is expected to issue a press release early this evening.
The announcement was made at Parma Community General Hospital insiders Monday.
Parma employs 2,000 people and has more than 500 physicians on staff. UH employs about 18,000 and includes 10 hospital and 20 outpatient centers.
The agreement could be official by the end of the year.
