Three new restaurants are now open for business in Flats East Bank.

Open are Ken Stewart’s, Lago and Willeyville.

Ken Stewart’s East Bank: The restaurant represents the first Cleveland venture for Stewart, who has long operated highly regarded restaurants in Akron and Bath.

His newest restaurant offers premium quality steaks, seafood and more than 600 wine selections in a comfortable, upscale dining experience.

Lago: Fabio Salerno, known for his culinary success in Little Italy, Shaker Heights, Battery Park and Tremont, is now committed to serving his authentic Italian cuisine offered at Lago in the Flats East Bank neighborhood.

The new location will anchor the Aloft Hotel and offer amenities to help keep up with the demand for Lago’s rapidly growing catering business.

Willeyville: Chef Christopher DiLisi describes his new venue, which will be located on Front and W.10th Street, as warm and inviting with an economy-conscious menu. The menu focuses on fresh, seasonal homemade ingredients.

Chef/Owner Chris DiLisi will make everything from scratch including bread, cheese, salami and even butter. He is a native Clevelander Chris grew up “in the mean streets of Lyndhurst.”

He spent many hours helping his grandparents cook old-school Italian food. Learning how to cook “the sauce,” which every Italian family has a version of and grows in folklore every passing year.

In addition to the restaurants on West 10th, the 23-story Ernst & Young Tower and the newly completed Aloft Hotel offer a couple options to appease your tastebuds.

Constantino’s Café in the office tower lobby is a gourmet café offering salads, sandwiches, pastries and Erie Island Coffee.

Aloft’s w xyz bar caters to sophisticated travelers and area professionals with a vibrant and social atmosphere. Both offer indoor and outdoor seating.

All of these venues are part of phase I of the $500 million construction project transforming the Flats into a contemporary mixed-use district.
