Cleveland Councilman Eugene Miller has come under fire for his comments he made to a 911 dispatcher in June. Miller, who only spoke to NewsChannel 5 apologized for how he handled the situation.
“I made a mistake,” he said. “I made a mistake being rude to the 911 operator. If I had it to do over again I wouldn’t do it that way,” he continued.
Miller said he was upset after being woken up by residents that were fighting that along his street. He told the operator there were around 100 people fighting.
He referred to the people involved as, “sorry black kids out here acting a fool.”
