CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

Cleveland State University started the new school year with a bold health initiative.

The campus is going tobacco-free.

The new rules for campus take effect Monday, August 26.

The new rules prohibit smoking of any kind, anywhere on campus.  This includes dorm rooms, parking lots or even your own car, when on campus.

Last year tobacco was prohibited within 20 feet of any building.
