A difficult question faces Congress when members return from their August recess.
Should they support President Obama’s proposed military intervention in Syria?
Rep. Marcia Fudge says the President is correct in seeking to rally popular and Congressional support behind any proposed action.
“All you have to do is look back at Iraq and Afghanistan to understand the situation he is in…I think it’s good to pull the country together to get behind what he believes is right….We have to take appropriate deliberate action to address this issue….It is heartbreaking to see the pictures of all the people killed by chemical weapons,” she said.
But she said there are too many unanswered questions now to guarantee she would vote “ yes.”
