All preschools, elementary schools and the high school will be closed Monday after a bomb threat.

According to the Strongsville Police Department, officers responded to Strongsville High School shortly after 7 a.m. to investigate graffiti that included the word “bomb” spray painted on the front of the school building.

Police conducted a sweep of the high school and told NewsChannel5′s Kristin Byrne nothing suspicious was found inside.

School officials decided to evacuate the students to the stadium before sending them home.

Strongsville middle schools will remain open.
