The Ohio Department of Transportation is ramping up for a closure so bridge work can be done over Interstate 90.
The I-90 eastbound exit ramp to Eddy Road is scheduled to close officially at 8:00 p.m. Monday.
This move will force many drivers to reroute their daily commute. Many will be detoured via I-90 eastbound to East 152nd Street to I-90 westbound to Eddy Road.
The ramp closure is crucial for demolition and bridge deck replacement work.
The Ohio Department of Transportation tells FOX 8 the ramp will be shut down through May of 2014, however the official completion of the project is set for the fall of 2014.
